We are the SAP New GL Migration and IFRS Readiness Experts

June 15th, 2010    •  by william.miller    •   No Comments »

Our principals have lead over 45 new g/l migrations in North America including the first New G/L Migration, the first multi-weekend migration, and the first multi-instance migration.

We worked directly with SAP development from the inception of the new g/l migration process and we have developed and refined a methodology for planning and executing migrations over the past six years that will insure your migration is cost effective, safe, and maximizes the functionality of the SAP ERP general ledger. Since the announcement of IFRS as the primary accounting standard for Canada, our principals have assisted SAP customers in Canada, the US, UK, and Latin America plan for IFRS in SAP. Our principals lead SAP Consulting’s North American new g/l, new g/l migration, and IFRS practices from 2005 to 2011. We have conducted nearly 150 New G/L migration planning and IFRS readiness assessments over the past few years, published articles on both topics, spoken at SAP Financial conferences (ASUG local regional and national meetings, SAP Insider, and SAPPHIRE), presented webinars with SAP and major implementation and accounting partners, and participated as “experts” in IFRS panel discussions.

    • Why MI6 Solutions Group?

During our time at SAP America we were directly involved in the development of the migration solution and performed many NewGL migrations. We are responsilbe for the successful GL Migration of 45 Customers in the United States and Canada. This is more than 80% of all GL Migrations performed in the Americas – more than all of the other SAP resource partners combined. Additionally, our relationship with SAP Development and the entire SAP network is very strong. We currently partner with SAP Consulting on several of their engagements, as well as contracting with other customers directly. Experience makes a difference and no customer should have to pay for on-the-job consultant training.

We understand the requirement, the process, the tools, and the challenges in such a way that we can offer the most efficient and cost-effective implementation program. Members of our team frequently speak at the ASUG and SAP Financials events. Additionally, we have published several articles on this topic in the Financials Expert newsletter.
